Sizing for Nose Rings:

The best way to know what size inner (inside) diameter you would need, is to measure the distance in millimetres (mm) from your piercing hole, to the edge of your nostril.

Instructions if using a Ruler:
Cut a small strip of paper or piece of masking tape, and line the top of the strip up with the piercing hole. Next, use a pen or a pencil to mark where the edge of your nostril is. You can now place the paper onto a ruler, and measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark that you made.

 Sizing for Cartilage Hoops:

The best way to know what size inner (inside) diameter you would need, is to measure the distance in millimetres (mm) from your piercing hole, to the edge of your ear.

Instructions if using a Ruler:
Cut a small strip of paper or piece of masking tape, and line the top of the strip up with the piercing hole. Next, use a pen or a pencil to mark where the edge of your skin is. You can now place the paper onto a ruler, and measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark that you made.

Or, if you currently own a hoop that fits you well, that you could measure the inner diameter of, that would work as well.

What is 14K Gold Fill?:
Gold fill is composed of a solid layer of 14 karat gold bonded with heat and pressure to brass. Strict regulations govern the process mandating the gold must make up a minimum 1/20 of the total weight of the piece. Gold-filled items are 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating. So everything that touches your skin is 14K Gold.
